Imperforate, watermarked, engraved.
Printed by Perkins Bacon, London.
|5 centavos brown red||
|10c deep blue||
The watermarks reflect the values of the stamps, '5' and '10'. The first 2 stamps were printed in London and Perkins Bacon then sent the plates to Chile for local printing of subsequent issues (their normal practice). The same decoration around the central image was used for the first issues of New Zealand and South Australia two years later.
