All the first issues are overprints of the same Indian stamp, the 1882 ½ anna green Sc36. Gibbons describes it as deep blue-green (SG84) or blue-green (SG84a). Scott merely notes the variation, Gibbons numbers thevaiants separately.

Notes:
1. Gwalior - There are variations in the font size of the Hindi inscription and in the spacing between the upper and lower lines of inscription.
