Alwar and the other Princely States are listed in the Scott catalog under India: Native feudatory States. Also listed under India are the so called 'Convention States of the British Empire in India'.
The stamps of Alwar became obsolete after July 1, 1902, when the postal service was taken over by the British Imperial post.
