Studies / Study Circles?
« on: January 07, 2003, 04:14:42 PM »

Please have a look at the "New Republic Study" topic -

Would you be interested in doing similar studies of other first issues?

Would you like to be a part of a small group or would you prefer to do it as an individual?

I think the members of FICC would be some of the best suited to conduct such work. The combined knowledge, libraries, effort and stamp collections available ought to be a good basis for something like this.

What do you think?

Personally, I like the idea of doing this through the web... just like you've done with New Republic.  Lets see if this catches on.

I wholeheartedly agree with Tim.   In fact, this type of a study is exactly what the Greek Society did with Epirus a few years ago, and Tim and I, and maybe others, have both been enjoying the fruits of it ever since.

I am so enthused that I feel like starting another one!

Jesper, do you think the subject "Studies/Study Circles", could, or should be elevated to a more prominent place on the title page.  Right now it is buried in "Site related".
